We were pleased and honored to contribute 127 shoeboxes to this ministry for calendar year 2023, and we are hoping to add more to that total this year. We are revamping our prayer chain ministry. If you have a need please contact Pastor Ed at 301-533-6232. We would love to pray for you and your needs. Our Tuesday evening Prayer Meeting and Bible Study is being held each week beginning at 6:00 pm. Feel free to join us! Our annual Men and Boys picnic was held Saturday June 15th at 5 pm in the pavilion behind the church. It was a blessed and relaxing time for our men and boys! Everyone got a blessing from our Vacation Bible School held June 24-28. A special thank you to all of those who helped with Bible School and to all of those who made donations for the week! Our annual Church Picnic on July 28th in the pavilion was a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed the special song service that day as well with special guests from Grantsville, MD, Loretta Hummel ministering in song and her husband Ken providing an encouraging message! Looking Ahead: We will be having a special Thanksgiving service on November 27th. Please feel free to join us. Our choir has begun practices for our Christmas Cantata. We will be having special advent readings during the Christmas Season. We are collecting canned food items for families in the Crellin area.
